Braided

Braided is a piece by Teagan White.
Teagan White is a freelance designer and illustrator from Chicago. She is currently a student at Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She has a diverse working background, dealing with both commercial and private clients in the music, fashion and editorial industry. This could be what has allowed her to go beyond the sterile style usually found in modern design, and instead give room for a more aesthetic look. By doing so she is in effect filling a gap between graphic design and illustration. Detailed lines, natural interpretations and mellow colours are her signature mark in the visual expression found in her art pieces. The content is clearly influenced by her fascination for natural history, antiques and moral values.
Braided is the direct result of a whole term’s research project about Colombian, native American culture.
It is a completely fascinating and very detailed illustration, rich with attitude!
